Overview of the Youth Justice Process

You deny you committed the crime, or the offence is serious. You appear in the Youth Court again, so the judge can decide if the Police have proved that you committed the crime. You appear in the Youth Court for the first time and face the charge. The Police arrest you. The Police dont arrest you. Someone has committed a crime. The Police know about it and believe you did it. ycflowchart1.jpg
