Leadership of the Justice Sector

The Ministry has a mandate to lead the justice sector and to coordinate processes that ensure a collaborative, outcome-focused approach.

Some of the activities undertaken by the Ministry in its sector leadership role are:

  • Research and evaluation
  • Provision of advice on sector outcomes
  • Linking cross-sector strategies
  • Strengthening knowledge and information flows across the sector
  • Coordinating the sector’s annual Budget process
