Licence Application Kits

C.O.A. Application Forms

Please note that C.O.A application forms are only for use by Licence holders.

• Temporary Approval Form

Please note that the same form is used for Security Guards and Private Investigators.

Renewal Kits

These Renewal Kits have now been updated and are those you will require to renew Licences and COA's for the period 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2010. Renewals must be lodged with this office during January and February of each year. If a Licence or COA shows an expiry date earlier than 31 March 2008 then a renewal can not be made and a new application is required.

If you require reference numbers to complete the various renewal forms then please download the appropriate Excel spreadsheet which lists these. These spreadsheets list all current COA's and Licences granted as at 15 October 2008. Please note that when searching for Licence (i.e. SG or PI) numbers that if you hold a Licence under your own name then you need to search using 'Licence Name' with your surname first.
