Electoral Finance Reform
This website is the central source of information about electoral finance reform.
Following the Government’s review of the rules on electoral campaigning and political party funding, the Minister of Justice has introduced the Electoral (Finance Reform and Advance Voting) Amendment Bill to the House of Representatives.
To find a copy of the Bill and Cabinet’s decisions on the areas of reform go to the “What are the proposed changes?” page.
The Bill will now go through the parliamentary stages, including Select Committee consultation where there will be a further opportunity for the public to provide feedback on the Government's proposals.
