Criminal Records (Clean Slate) Act 2004
If you require
criminal conviction information from the Ministry of Justice to be
able to work as a teacher in South Korea you must :
- Complete the PRIV/F1 application form
- Attach a copy of either your driver’s license or passport
- Attach a coversheet stating the following:
- Your application is for work as a teacher in South Korea
- You require the result to be on original letterhead with ink
signature
- You give the Ministry of Justice permission to forward your
document to the Department of Internal Affairs for Apostille.

- Fax your application form to +64 4 918 8974 (if you live
outside of NZ) or post if you live within NZ.
- Contact the Authentication Unit of the Department of Internal
Affairs regarding their fee for the Apostille and delivery of
your document. Their contact phone number is 0800 872 675 or
e-mail authentication@egs.govt.nz
There is no fee for the Ministry of Justice service.
