We have listed organisations which were in the 1999-2001 Directory but which are not included in this directory. These organisations comprise organisations no longer subject to the Official Information Act and organisations which appear under a different name. This list is based on information supplied by external agencies.
| Apple and Pear Marketing Board | Disestablished on 1st October 2001.

| Audit Office | The Auditor General became an Officer of Parliament under the new Public Audit Act
2001 and as a result the Audit Office is no longer subject to the Official
Information Act.

| Central Institute of Technology | Disestablished on 30th June 2001. Amalgamated with Wellington Institute
of Technology (WelTec).

| Crown Forestry Management Limited | Crown Forestry Management Limited ceased to operate from 30th June
2001. The Crown's assets remaining, (certain commercial forests) will be managed by
Land Information New Zealand and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

| Department of Work and Income | Merged with Ministry of Social Policy to become Ministry of Social Development on
1st October 2001.

| Development and Finance Corporation Of New Zealand Limited
|
Disestablished since December 1998. |
| Exports Permits Committee
|
Disestablished on 1st October 2001. |
| Government Property Services Limited
|
Deregistered on 8th November 2001. |
| Health Funding Authorities
|
Disestablished. The New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 then set up the District Health Boards effective from 1st January 2001. |
| Land Corporation Limited
|
No longer exists. It has become incorporated into Landcorp Farming Limited under the State-Owned Enterprises (Landcorp Farming Limited) Order 2001. |
| Maternal Deaths Assessment Committee | No longer exists. Maternal Deaths Assessment Committee was set up under Section
3(2) of the Maternity Mortality Research Act 1968 and was disestablished when the
Act was repealed on 1st January 2001.

| Ministry of Social Policy | Merged with Department of Work and Income to form Ministry of Social Development
effective from 1st October 2001.

| Terralink Limited | Sold to private shareholders on 1st June 2001 and therefore no longer
subject to the Official Information Act.
|
| Wairarapa Community Polytechnic | Disestablished on 1st January 2001. It is now incorporated with UCOL (Universal College of Learning). |
