Marine and Coastal Area Act applications

Before an application for a resource consent, permit or approval is lodged, the applicant is required to notify and seek the views of any group that has applied for recognition of customary marine title in that part of the common marine and coastal area under section 62 of the Marine and Coastal Area Act (the Act).
