International Education Appeal Authority

The International Education Appeal Authority deals with complaints from international students about the care they receive from their education provider or the provider’s agent.

The International Education Appeal Authority is an independent body that deals with complaints from international students about the care, advice or services they receive from their education provider or the provider's agent.

The Authority investigates complaints and determines if there has been a breach of the Code of Pastoral Care. It has the power to impose sanctions on education providers that have committed a breach that is not serious.

The Authority may recommend to the Review Panel that the provider be suspended or removed as a signatory to the Code if it has committed a serious breach.
