The information about the Tribunal's processes that is provided on this website is also available in the form of a printed brochure entitled 'Introduction to Weathertight Homes Tribunal'. Copies of the printed brochure (in English only) are available from the Tribunal's offices, the Department of Building and Housing, and from District Courts.

Application form

An outline of the information and documents required for an application to the Tribunal is given in the 'Applying to the Tribunal' section of 'Stages' page of this website. To give you a more detailed indication of what is required for an application to the Tribunal, you can view a copy of the official application form by clicking on the following links:

However, since you will have applied to the Department of Building and Housing before applying with the Tribunal, your assigned claims advisor at the Department will be able to advise and assist you with filling out the form correctly and collecting all the required documents. The Tribunal suggests that you take full advantage of this advice in order to prevent delays to your claim being registered by the Tribunal, since it will not be registered if the application is incomplete.
