Rt Hon John Key visits the CJESP

We were privileged to have former Prime Minister, Rt Hon John Key, tour the Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct recently, with the visit being one of Mr. Key’s last official duties as Prime Minister.

The Precinct will be the most significant anchor project completed in Christchurch, to date. The visit included a look at the first of 19 new courtrooms, and an address to the Precinct construction team.

‘Work is progressing well and from this point we will see a rapid acceleration of fit-out and finishing,’ says Paul Swallow, CJESP Project Manager.

Minister of Justice, Hon Amy Adams, accompanied Mr. Key, along with Ministers Hon Gerry Brownlee, Hon Nicky Wagner, and our Chief Executive, Andrew Bridgman.
