If you reach agreement at Family Dispute Resolution, the mediator will set out what you've agreed in writing and give you each a copy.
This is a private agreement. If it works for everyone involved, you don’t need to do anything else.
The mediator will also give each of you an Outcome of Family Dispute Resolution form. That form shows that you completed Family Dispute Resolution and settled all matters.
If you want to, you can get the Family Court to make your private agreement into a Consent Order. When the agreement is a Consent Order, the court can enforce it.
