Liquor Licensing Authority
The Liquor Licensing Authority determines applications regarding liquor licences that have been opposed, and applications for the suspension of liquor licences.
The Liquor Licensing Authority determines applications relating to liquor licences and managers' certificates that have been referred to it by District Licensing Agencies.
Another function of the Authority is to determine applications for the suspension or cancellation of licences and managers' certificates, lodged by the police or District Licensing Agency inspectors.
It also hears appeals against decisions of District Licensing Agencies.
The Liquor Licensing Authority reports annually to Parliament.
