From today (1 July 2025), the Ministry of Justice is increasing fees in courts and most Ministry administered tribunals.
This is an inflation adjustment to ensure the fees the Ministry charges better reflect the costs of operating court and tribunal services, and that these services remain financially sustainable. This will see most fees increase by 3.65 percent (to the nearest dollar).
