Inquiry into the conduct of Coroner S Herdson

On 30 August 2021, the then Attorney-General, Hon David Parker, appointed a Judicial Conduct Panel to inquire into, and report on, the alleged conduct of Coroner Sarn Herdson.

Members of the Panel

The members of the Panel were:

  • Justice Susan Thomas, the Chief High Court Judge (Chair)
  • Judge Lawrence Hinton, District Court Judge; and
  • Jacqueline Caine, former Diplomat.
