The Ministry of Justice’s 2023/24 Annual Report, published today, presents the Ministry’s progress against its strategic priorities, delivering court and justice services across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Secretary for Justice Andrew Kibblewhite says, “2023/24 was a demanding year, dominated by an election, a change of Government and a challenging fiscal environment, alongside an already substantial work programme.”
“In spite of these challenges, we continued to make good progress towards our goal of strengthening people’s trust in the law of Aotearoa New Zealand – the successes in the report are the result of the knowledge and experience of our people.”
The report includes the Annual Report for Te Arawhiti – The Office for Māori Crown Relations.
