If you are a registered third party, you will need to complete an annual self-assessment using the Contract Compliance Statement.
Contract Compliance Statement [PDF, 215 KB]
The purpose of the statement is to demonstrate that you are compliant with the terms and conditions of the Contract and the Criminal Conviction History Request - Third Party User Guide.
The Ministry will conduct an annual compliance assurance check by identifying the registered third party customers to complete an assurance check.
If you are identified for an assurance check, you must provide the Ministry with a copy of your Contract Compliance Statement that has been completed within the last financial year.
The Ministry may also request a Contract Compliance Statement at any time if there are reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a material breach to the terms and conditions of the Contract and the Criminal Conviction History Request - Third Party User Guide.
If you do not appear to be compliant, the Ministry may engage an auditor to assess your performance or compliance with the terms and conditions.
