Family Court documents are important

Judges use these documents to:

  • help them understand your situation
  • make their decision
  • record their decision.

Some of the documents you and the other people involved in the case may have to fill in are:

  • Applications
  • Information sheets
  • Affidavits

Other documents will be arranged by the court, these are:

  • Specialist reports
  • Court orders.
