Replace lost badges, licences or certificates, update details or classes, and learn about your responsibilities like licence annual returns.

If you lose your badge, licence or certificate, you must apply for a replacement. Fill in this form to apply:

Replacements cost $60. You can confirm accepted payment methods in the section Forms & Fees

You must let us know if any of your personal or company details change, or if you want to change a class of security work you do.

If you have a licence, even if your details haven’t changed, each year you need to send an annual return.

You must let us know if:

your name changes
your home address changes
you’re no longer eligible for your licence or certificate.

If you want to give up your licence or certificate, you can contact us.

We will cancel your licence or certificate and record this in the public register. This means you can no longer work in private security.

If you want to return to security work, you will have to apply again and pay the full application fee.
