Replacing lost badges, licences or certificates

If you lose your badge, licence or certificate, you must apply for a replacement. Fill in this form to apply:

Cost of replacements

Replacements cost $45. You have to pay by cheque.

Update your details or classes of work

You must let us know if any of your personal or company details change, or if you want to change a class of security work you do.

If you have a licence, even if your details haven’t changed, each year you need to send an annual return.

  • your name changes
  • your home address changes
  • you’re no longer eligible for your licence or certificate.

It costs $75. You have to pay by cheque.

Giving up your licence or certificate

If you want to give up your licence or certificate, you can contact us.

Contact us

We will cancel your licence or certificate and record this in the public register. This means you can no longer work in private security.

If you want to return to security work, you will have to apply again and pay the full application fee.
