From September 2026, the Ministry is opening the Panel for suitably qualified and experienced psychologists and psychiatrists to apply to join. To join, you must have previous experience writing forensic reports for the NZ criminal court or for a criminal court in an international jurisdiction.
Applicants must agree to provide the required services in accordance with the Website Terms and meet the mandatory criteria set out in the application form.
The initial procurement round will run from 17 September 2026 to 16 October 2026. The Panel will remain open after this period, with applications received after the initial closing date assessed on a quarterly basis.
