Notice of payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account

This is the current list of offenders that have been awarded compensation - surnames F-J:

Glen James Gage

A compensation payment has been made to Glen James Gage in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Glen James Gage to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Glen James Gage.

On 17 February 2022, $3,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Glen James Gage.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Glen James Gage until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Glen James Gage in respect of an offence for which Glen James Gage was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Glen James Gage.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

Rodney Alfred Heta

A compensation payment has been made to Rodney Alfred Heta in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Rodney Alfred Heta to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Rodney Alfred Heta.

On 25 March 2021, $8,832.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Rodney Alfred Heta.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Rodney Alfred Heta until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Rodney Alfred Heta, in respect of an offence for which Rodney Alfred Heta was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Rodney Alfred Heta.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

Ian Douglas Johnson

A compensation payment has been made to Ian Douglas Johnson in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Ian Douglas Johnson to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Ian Douglas Johnson.

On 16 June 2021, $32,034.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Ian Douglas Johnson.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Ian Douglas Johnson until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Ian Douglas Johnson, in respect of an offence for which Ian Douglas Johnson was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Ian Douglas Johnson.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.
