If you‘re a victim of an offender named in a notice of payment into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account, you may be entitled to make a claim against the money awarded to the offender.

This is the current list of offenders that have been awarded compensation - surnames F-J:

Ashor Gorgus

A compensation payment has been made to Ashor Gorgus aka Ashor Gorges aka Asher Gorges aka Ashor Gewargis aka Edmon Nissan aka Ashor Benjamin in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Ashor Gorgus to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Ashor Gorgus.

On 25 August 2022, $16,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Ashor Gorgus.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Ashor Gorgus until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Ashor Gorgus, in respect of an offence for which Ashor Gorgus was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Ashor Gorgus.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

Mark Anthony Graham

A compensation payment has been made to Mark Anthony Graham in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Mark Anthony Graham to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Mark Anthony Graham.

On 21 April 2022, $2,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Mark Anthony Graham.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Mark Anthony Graham until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Mark Anthony Graham, in respect of an offence for which Mark Anthony Graham was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Mark Anthony Graham.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

A compensation payment has been made to Peter John Hartley in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Peter John Hartley to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Peter John Hartley.

On 6 July 2022, $1,500.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Peter John Hartley.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Peter John Hartley until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Peter John Hartley, in respect of an offence for which Peter John Hartley was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Peter John Hartley.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

A compensation payment has been made to Norman Frances Hita in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Norman Frances Hita to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Norman Frances Hita.

On 9 September 2022, $28,066.98 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Norman Frances Hita.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Norman Frances Hita, until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Norman Frances Hita, in respect of an offence for which Norman Frances Hita was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Norman Frances Hita.
