This is the current list of offenders that have been awarded compensation - surnames F-J:

Darron John Fisher

A compensation payment has been made to Darron John Fisher in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Darron John Fisher to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Darron John Fisher.

On 15 June 2021, $1,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Darron John Fisher.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Darron John Fisher until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Darron John Fisher, in respect of an offence for which Darron John Fisher was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Darron John Fisher.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

John Gillies

A compensation payment has been made to John Gillies in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of John Gillies to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to John Gillies.

On 17 February 2021, $13,248.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of John Gillies.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for John Gillies until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of John Gillies, in respect of an offence for which John Gillies was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of John Gillies.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

Rodney Alfred Heta

A compensation payment has been made to Rodney Alfred Heta in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Rodney Alfred Heta to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Rodney Alfred Heta.

On 25 March 2021, $8,832.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Rodney Alfred Heta.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Rodney Alfred Heta until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Rodney Alfred Heta, in respect of an offence for which Rodney Alfred Heta was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Rodney Alfred Heta.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Ian Douglas Johnson to make claims against it.

On 16 June 2021, $32,034.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Ian Douglas Johnson.
