• Please contact lawyers from the relevant section of the roster.
• Roster shifts start and finish at 8 am and run for 24 hours unless otherwise stated in the Hours section.
• If it is considered a lawyer should attend in person, please note their location preferences in the Notes section.
• Ensure that the “Show My Caller ID” setting is turned off when phoning lawyers.
• If your call goes unanswered, consider sending a follow-up text message so the lawyer can promptly return the call.
• Introduce yourself to the lawyer and provide a summary of what has occurred so far including any calls made to other lawyers.
• Prioritise calling lawyers from the appropriate part of the roster.

• Please contact any lawyer from any part of the roster except the Young People and Children section (it is the lawyer’s responsibility to ensure that they are the appropriate person to provide advice).
• If you run out of names on the roster for your location, please call lawyers on the Auckland list.
• Please report unanswered calls to the contacts below. Please include the name of the lawyer, the time, and date of the missed call.
