Wellington District Court

Kia ora,

All Jurors summoned for the week commencing Monday, 3rd November 2025 who have not been selected to sit on a jury:

·       Are NOT required on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, but may be required on  Wednesday 5th November 2025.

PLEASE:

·       Check this website, or the jury answerphone on (04) 918 8055, after 6pm on Tuesday, 4th September 2025 for further instructions.

  • Should anything urgent arise during the week that affects your ability to attend, please email CRSOTeamWellingtonDC@justice.govt.nz and advise. If you are currently a juror on a trial and have any issues:
    • Call the jury phone on (04) 918 8444 before 9am & leave a message, or
    • Call 0800 COURTS and ask to speak to a Service Manager in the Criminal jurisdiction.

 

Those jurors already on a jury trial are asked to follow the instructions given to you by the Judge or court staff in your court.

PARKING OPTIONS

All day paid parking is available:

• In the Stout Street carparking building (beside the EziBuy store) which is adjacent to Wellington District Court

• At Wellington Stadium which is a 10-15 minute walk to the Court building.

 

SECURITY AT COURT

Please note a search station will be operating. Please leave the following (& related) items at home:

·         Scissors

·         Metal forks & knives (including pocketknives)

·         Cutlery

·         Glass and/or metal bottles and containers

·         Knitting needles

·         Screwdrivers or other tools

·         Other sharp objects.

Any laptops, cellphones, other electronic devices, or keys will need to taken out of your bag and put into the security trays for screening, so please have those ready before you get to the front.
