This is a message from the Jury Officer of the Tauranga Court.

All Jurors summoned to attend on Monday the 22nd of June 2026 who are not currently sitting on a trial please note:  there are no further Jury trials this week and your attendance from Jury Service is therefore excused for the rest of this week.

On behalf of the Ministry of Justice, I take this opportunity to thank you for your attendance for Jury Service.

 

Please note:

 

Food and drinks (not contained in glass or metal bottles) may be brought into the Courthouse but must not be taken into or consumed in the Courtrooms.

 

The following list includes some common items that are restricted in court:

Glass, Steel bottles, mugs and containers, umbrellas, steel cutlery, knives, sharp tools, scissors, knitting needles, sports equipment, whistles, loud alarms, speakers, alcohol, offensive clothing, gang regalia, weapons, illegal drugs and paraphernalia.

 

Possession of Illegal items at court may result in court security/police interventions.
